Scope of Services

Jackson & Company (“J&Co Cleaning”) provides professional cleaning services for residential and commercial properties, including general cleaning, deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleans, and specialty services (as listed on our booking form).

We do not provide:

  • Hazardous material removal

  • Pest control

  • Heavy lifting/moving of furniture or appliances

  • Outdoor cleaning (unless explicitly booked)

We reserve the right to refuse service for any unsafe, unsanitary, or inappropriate conditions.

Liability & Damages

We treat your home and belongings with care. However:

  • J&Co Cleaning’s liability for any damage is capped at $500 per incident.

  • Clients must secure fragile, sentimental, or high-value items before service.

  • J&Co is not liable for damages resulting from pre-existing conditions, unstable items, improper installations, or improper client instructions.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring safe access to and from the premises.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of booking.

  • We accept credit/debit cards via Stripe.

  • Pricing is based on square footage, condition, and scope. Custom quotes may require a site visit.

  • Late fees of $25/day may apply for unpaid balances past 48 hours.

  • Promotions and discounts must be applied before checkout and cannot be retroactively credited.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule without penalty.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Repeated cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

  • Weather or access-related reschedules will be accommodated within reason.

Legal & Compliance

J&Co Cleaning complies with all applicable labor, safety, and local business regulations.

  • All cleaners are trained, background-checked, and insured under our policy.

  • We use eco-friendly and non-toxic cleaning products unless otherwise requested.

  • Clients may not solicit or hire J&Co staff for outside work within 12 months of service.
